History

The company Lusiaves began operations in 1986. The history and success of the Lusiaves group's growth were built up over the years, thanks to the hard work, strategy and vision of its founder, Avelino da Mota Gaspar Francisco.

We may venture that one of the keys to success was the big competitive advantage achieved through focusing on the vertical integration of the business. The excellence of its performance is also the result of various factors, such as: the production of quality products at competitive prices, constant innovation, continuous training, successive and ongoing investment, and a great team of competent, dedicated and extremely committed employees.

Lusiaves has always grown in a sustainable way, following the needs and desires of customers and providing them with the best products and services, creating value and creating wealth. It has always combined growth with a great sense of responsibility both in terms of food quality and safety, and at a social and environmental level, covering all stakeholders.
